Not Just Believers. Builders of the Kingdom
Jesus didn’t call us to be passive members of a religious club. He called us to follow Him, be formed by Him, and be sent by Him. As Jesus-built disciples, our lives are not our own, we are shaped by the Master Builder, formed on the foundation of truth, and commissioned to reproduce what He built in us.
1. We Are Followers First
“Come, follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19
We respond to the voice of Jesus with obedience and pursuit. We are not led by culture, comfort, or convenience, but by His Word and Spirit.
2. We Are Formed, Not Just Informed
“Everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.” Luke 6:40
Jesus didn’t just teach disciples what to think, He transformed how they lived. We submit to the lifelong process of character formation, spiritual maturity, and renewal of the mind.
3. We Are Builders of People and Truth
“On this rock I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
Matthew 16:18
We don’t just attend church, we are the Church. Jesus builds through us: lives, leaders, families, and communities. We carry spiritual tools to repair, restore, and raise up.
4. We Are Disciplined Soldiers in a War
“No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs…” 2 Timothy 2:4
Jesus-built disciples are not casual. We are trained, tested, and trusted. We fight from victory, not for it, standing firm in the authority and armor of Christ.
5. We Are Multipliers, Not Consumers
“Go and make disciples of all nations…” Matthew 28:19
We don’t hoard truth, we share it, teach it, and model it. Reproduction is the sign of a true disciple. As Jesus builds in us, we build others.
6. We Are Spirit-Empowered
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you...” Acts 1:8
We are not operating in human wisdom or willpower. As Jesus-built disciples, we walk in supernatural boldness, prophetic insight, healing power, and Kingdom authority.
Our Core Identity as Jesus-Built Disciples
· We are anchored in truth (John 8:31–32)
· We are empowered by the Spirit (Acts 1:8)
· We are fruit-bearing (John 15:5)
· We are obedient to His commands (John 14:15)
· We are sent to reproduce (2 Timothy 2:2)
“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” Psalm 127:1
Jesus is not just our Savior. He is our Architect, Builder, and Commander. And we are His living stones, set into place to glorify the Father and advance His Kingdom.
